Modal 5 Ayam, Suciati Wujudkan Mimpi Bangun Masjid Megah di Yogya

Sebuah masjid tampak berdiri megah dengan aksen khas Timur Tengah dan Jawa di atas lahan seluas 1.600 meter persegi di Jalan Gito Gati, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Balutan marmer tampak memperindah masjid yang memiliki tiga lantai dan satu basement itu.
Siapa sangka, masjid megah itu dibangun oleh seorang pedagang ayam pedaging atau ayam potong di Yogyakarta bernama Suciati Saliman Riyanto. Wanita kelahiran Yogyakarta 66 tahun lalu ini sudah merintis usaha ayam potong ini sejak duduk di kelas 2 SMP.
Saat itu, ia hanya memiliki modal Rp 175 ribu pemberian kedua orangtuanya. Uang tersebut lantas ia gunakan untuk membeli lima ekor ayam.
“Saya sejak SMP sudah jualan ayam awalnya lima ekor di Pasar Terban. Sejak SMP saya memimpikan membangun masjid,” ujar Suciati di masjid yang dibangunnya (28/5).
Waktu itu, dengan membonceng sepeda onthel ibunya, pukul 06.00 WIB, ia berangkat ke Pasar Terban untuk menjajakan ayam yang telah disembelih ayahnya itu. Baru setelah itu, ia langsung menunaikan kewajibannya menuntut ilmu.
“Pagi bapak yang menyembelih. Nanti saya bawa ke pasar. Pukul 07.00 WIB habis ndak habis saya ke sekolah. Kalau enggak habis saya jual ke ibu-ibu dosen UGM karena dulu enggak ada freezer. Kulkas itu barang mewah, saya juga nunut (nitip) di ibu-ibu dosen UGM,” kisahnya.
Hingga lulus SMP, sudah ada 15 ekor ayam yang berhasil ia jual. Usahanya tersebut terus berlanjut hingga ia menempuh pendidikan di STM Kimia Jetis dan mampu menjual 70 ekor ayam.
Usahanya semakin meningkat setelah ia menikah dengan seorang pegawai Dinsos, Saliman Riyanto Saharjo. Tidak hanya mengajarinya berbisnis, sang suami pun akhirnya ikut terjun berdagang ayam.
“Suami ngajarin saya bikin kartu nama, bikin selebaran untuk diselipkan di koran-koran,” kenangnya.
Menjadi pedagang ayam sendiri sebenarnya sudah lama menjadi pilihan hidup Suciati setelah mendapat nasihat dari sang nenek. Ia juga berusaha menerapkan falsafah Jawa, ‘urip iku urup’ yang berarti hidup itu memberi manfaat sebanyak-banyaknya ke sesama.
Kini, dari lima ekor ayam, Suciati telah memiliki 1.300 karyawan dengan dua pabrik di Sleman dan Jombang, Jawa Timur. Dari sanalah, lebih dari 100 ton ayam potong diproduksi setiap harinya.
“Pabrik nugget dan sosis juga ada. Segmennya di Indonesia Timur, jadi wilayah ambilnya di Jombang juga,” tuturnya.

Meski telah sukses, masih ada cita-cita Suciati yang saat ini masih belum terlaksana. Suciati, ingin membangun masjid. Lebih tepatnya, ia baru memantapkan cita-cita itu usai kembali dari ibadah haji.
“Saya memimpikan membangun masjid, 2015 baru terlaksana. Yang mantap membangun masjid itu tahun 1995 sesudah haji saya mantap pingin punya masjid. Karena saya suka sekali masjid Nabawi saya selalu menabung dan menabung juga umroh,” kisahnya.
Selain alasan itu, Suciati juga menjelaskan ia ingin membangun masjid untuk memudahkan karyawannya beribadah. Masjid ini juga sengaja dibuka 24 jam agar para musafir bisa beristirahat atau ikut salat di sini.
“Pertama, karena usaha kami di area sini, pelanggan kami rata-rata malam hari kalau bulan Ramadhan atau salat malam, susah cari masjid. Banyak dari luar kota. Mereka kalau mau salat Subuh, salat malam susah,” tutur putri sulung Suciati, Atik Raharjo (40).
Akhirnya Suciati benar-benar meraalisasikan impiannya itu. Masjid itu diberi nama Masjid Suciati Saliman. Desainnya pun terlihat apik. Kultur Timur Tengah tampak jelas dari desain pintu dengan uliran emas di sepanjang tepiannya. Desain itu, sama dengan desain pintu di Masjid Nabawi, Madinah. Tak hanya pintu, bagian dalamnya pun mirip dengan Masjid Nabawi.
Sementara, atap limas masjid tersebut merupakan hasil serapan dari budaya Jawa yang ingin ditonjolkan. Sebuah bedug berdiameter 130 cm bermaterial kayu trembesi berusia 127 dari Majalengka dan kulit kerbau jantan tampak gagah di samping masjid.
Tak hanya mewah, masjid yang berada persis di samping Jalan Gito Gati tersebut juga ramah lansia dan difabel. Sebab, di bagian dalamnya tersedia lift yang bisa digunakan oleh jemaah.

Putri sulung Suciati, Atik, pun mengisahkan cara ibunya menabung untuk membangun masjid. Menurutnya keuntungan dagang yang hendak untuk membangun masjid ditabung terlebih dahulu dengan dibelikan emas.
“Dibeliin emas dulu, ibu suka emas, ada uang sedikit suka ajak saya ke Ketandan beli emas satu gram, dua gram,” terangnya.
Meski Masjid Suciati Saliman baru benar-benar rampung pada Agustus 2018, masjid ini telah diresmikan pada 13 Mei lalu. Adzan pertama dikumandangkan pada 6 Mei 2018, saat itu Suciati sempat meneteskan air mata karena terharu.
Lantas, berapa total biaya pembangungan masjid?
“Nilai masjid enggak bisa dihitung karena sempat terhenti uang juga habis. Ada uang ya bangun lagi,” beber Atik.
Jika cita-cita membangun masjid telah terlaksana, kini Suciati siap untuk merealisasikan cita-citanya yang berikutnya. Mulai dari membuat rumah hafidz, pondok pesantren, sekolah muslim, hingga taman religi.
