Tak sedikit pria dan wanita yang menunda pernikahan karena berbagai faktor, mulai dari masalah kecocokan hingga karier mereka.

“Emang bener sih.... Saya setuju. Karena kalo udahsalah pilih udah telanjur marrieditu biayanya besar banget untuk memperbaiki kesalahan itu sendiri. Jadi jauh lebih baik dianggap tidak laku daripada kita memilih pasangan yang ujung-ujungnyanyakitin diri,” ujarnya kepada Health-Liputan6.com saat ditemui seusai program Friday Talk, ditulis Senin (15/2/2016).
Menurut Coach Lex, sapaan hangatnya, pria dan wanita yang menunda pernikahan bukan berarti mereka berhenti atau membatasi pergaulan mereka. Sebelum usia 30 tahun pria dan wanita disarankan untuk bergaul seluas-luasnya.
“Kalo sebelum 30 tahun itu ya bergaul bebas aja, kumpulkan banyak persahabatan. Tapi, begitu masuk ke usia 30 tahun harus punya defined standart yang tidak bergeser, tidak berganti-ganti. Jadi ketika lagi punya pilihan cari mana yang klik,” ujar Coach Lex.
Menunda pernikahan memang miliki risiko tinggi terutama pada wanita yang harus memikirkan kesehatan rahim mereka untuk mengandung janin yang sehat.
Coach Lex berasumsi wanita tak perlu buru-buru menikah hanya karena demi memikirkan rahimnya. Itu karena sesungguhnya memperjuangkan pilihan yang tepat akan baik untuk hubungan pernikahan ke depan.
Tak sedikit pula wanita yang terlalu cepat mengambil keputusan menikah karena ingin punya anak, tapi tak sedikit pun wanita yang telah menikah dan melahirkan lalu menemukan sifat buruk dari pasangannya karena tidak memilih pasangan yang tepat.
“Kalo udah salah pilih susah… Kalau si wanita mementingkan punya anak di saat kelahiran anaknya sehat, bayinya kuat dan hebat, eh tapi ternyata suaminya jahat, punya sifat jelek dan lain-lain kan jadi percuma…..”, katanya.
Coach Lex menyarankan untuk para pria dan wanita yang belum menikah tak perlu berkecil hati. Menurutnya, sesungguhnya memperjuangkan pilihan yang tepat akan membawa kebahagiaan di masa depan.
