Hujan Deras Terj4ng Sulawesi Selatan dan Sebabkan Sungai Meluap, Jembatan di Gowa Ambruk Terbawa Arus

Hujan deras disertai angin kencang di Kota Makassar dan 6 Kabupaten di Sulawesi Selatan berlangsung selama sehari semalam.

Akibatnya Kota Makassar dan 6 Kabupaten di Sulawesi Selatan tersebut diterjang banjir.
Tak hanya itu, sebuah jembatan dan sejumlah rumah warga terseret arus deras dari aliran Sungai Jeneberang, Selasa (22/1/2019).

Banjir terparah di Kota Makassar berada di Kelurahan Paccerakkang dengan ketinggian air mencapai d4da orang dewasa.
Demikian pula beberapa wilayah di enam Kabupaten di Sulsel yakni, Kabupaten Gowa, Takalar, Jeneponto, Maros, Pangkep dan Barru.

Selain air hujan yang cukup deras, air kiriman dari pegunungan Bawakaraeng yang mengalir di sungai-sungai enam kabupaten ini meluap.

Sebuah jembatan yang berdekatan dengan Bendungan Bili-bili di Kabupaten Gowa ambruk terbawa derasnya arus Sungai Jeneberang yang airnya berasal dari pegunungan Bawakaraeng.

Ketinggian air di Bendungan Bili-bili pun sudah hampir sampai pada ambang batas yakni 103 meter.


Beberapa perumahan di Kabupaten Gowa terendam banjir setinggi dada orang dewasa.

Sebuah rumah warga yang terbuat dari bahan kayu berada tepi Sungai Jeneberang hanyut terbawa arus.

Belum ada korban jiwa dalam musibah banjir yang menerjang Kota Makassar dan enam kabupaten di Sulsel.

Namun, Jembatan Kembar yang menghubungkan Kota Makassar dengan kabupaten bagian selatan di Sulsel sempat ditutup.

Pasalnya, arus sungai sangat deras dan Jembatan Kembar yang padat kendaraan yang menyeberang ini sempat bergoyang.

Tim SAR gabungan dan BPBD kabupaten/kota serta aparat kepolisian hingga kini masih membantu evakuasi warga yang terkepung banjir.
