rasulullah. saw telah melarang aksi mencukur jenggot. tidak terdapat riwayat yang mengatakan kalau dia sempat memotong jenggot ataupun cambangnya, kecuali apa yang di riwayatkan oleh al – bukhori dari ibnu umar. ra, “ apabila dia melaksanakan umrah, hingga dia memotong jenggotnya yang melebihi genggamannya”.
